So colorful! ~Round Rock Family Portraits

Nevermind that this is my good friend and I've infiltrated her brain to dress colorfully in their family portraits.  They rock the color and truly, the COLOR is happy, right?  I tried out a new location, and it was fun to discover texture and well, color.  She and I were pregnant together, due just one day apart with both of our baby #4's.  Our older children swap Pokemon cards with each other (though mine are boys and hers are girls, so far they are all ok with that).  And the youngers dress up fancy together.  Plus, she rocks big time in my book because she helped me pack my home before moving. She claims to love it, and as I stood there staring at the piles of stuff I had to do, she was over throwing it into boxes or asking me to decide in 5 seconds if I wanted to keep it.  She SAVED me on that front.  So, I owed her big time!  I present to you, my friend Tamiel and her cute fam.

Love ya, girlie!

Family Reunion~Round Rock Family Portraits

This group was a lot of fun!  I photographed these three--4 years ago.
I was so excited when they told me they wanted a session for all of the extended family as a gift to their mother. They all live in the Round Rock area, and what is even crazier to me (transplant to the area) is that the parents of the group also grew up around here!  They are locals through and through.
Here are the parents, their 3 daughters, and 5 grandchilren.

Sisters
Cousins

I love this cute couple shot
But I think I may just love a little bit more...when he tried to flip her, or spin her...not sure what they were doing.  I suggested a dip or a turn, and this is what we got:
I just seriously enjoy the looks on their faces.

This was also pretty funny...

There are so many more, but this will have to suffice for the group until their entire gallery is ready.

Fun Family!

Friday night, I got to photograph the family of a friend of mine.  She and I met 2 years ago when both of us were yearbook liasons for our children's elementary school.  Doesn't it seem fitting that I would work on the yearbook and take pictures?  I love to do it.  We've become great friends, and I was anxious to photograph her family.

I've barely looked at the images and won't til Monday, but this one I spotted and fell in love with.  Her children have great energy, and she wanted to capture a happy candid moment.  I think we got that with this image.
Hope you got a smile as big as I did when I saw this:)  Happy weekend!
*Edited to add a few more...

Mom with her lovely daughters~Austin Texas Family Photographer

When this mom called me earlier in the week saying she wanted bluebonnet pictures, I knew we had to act fast. I've seen them fading in some spots. I squeezed them in, but with 2 busy high school girls, we had an even smaller window. We had just enough time, and made it just minutes before a big downpour. I love this shot below of the three of them.

This gal is graduating high school and venturing off to college.
Sister has 2 more years...
These girls can be silly...we were all laughing pretty good as they did what I asked for the images below.

I love the shot above and below because I can really tell these two girls love each other. I hope my girls love each other this much as teenagers:)
A happy family, indeed.
As I was driving home, just before the rain hit, I was able to snap a shot of a rainbow.  I think it is the first time I've done this.
Then, it poured.
