The day before we had a bright blue sky, but the day we went to the lighthouse it was grey and murky:(

Natalie yelled to pull the car over to capture the hydrangeas. I figured I should snap a few shots as well. These flowers remind me of her (even before this event).

The lovely homes around the lighthouse. Just like a scene out of a movie.

We even ate at Mystic Pizza in the quaint little town of Mystic, CT. (Do you know the movie with Julia Roberts?)
Mmmm, delicious!+copy.jpg)

Here is my play on "Lifestyle Portraiture" with Emily and her adorable girls. Just one of dad here...we planned to do a family photo shoot, but her husband had to work unexpectedly on the morning we planned to do it, and it poured buckets of rain the rest of the day. Oh well.....

Me taking a picture of our "welcome" gifts Emily made Natalie and I.
A lovely ice cream shop where the cream comes straight from the Cows out back, the eggs from the chickens, too.

Mystic Pizza! Of course...how fun. I love girly time. So glad you got to do that.

I love the shots of the girls. Especially the one with hose. Very cool!
These are awesome! I really want to see places like that some day, where the houses really look like that, and the streets and everything. Glad you had fun! Sorry about the rain...that's the east coast for you, I guess.
awesome pics! glad you had a great time! You know me, of course I love the landscape and nature pics, but my favorite has to be the frog picture! Such a good contrast, it's usually little boys picking up frogs. Too cute!
wow, i had so much fun reading about your trip...and looking at all of your AH-MAZING pics!!!
I am so glad you had a fun time!
Hi Kristen,
I am also a photographer in the Round Rock area and someone gave me your website to check out. First of all, I love your work. You do an amazing job.
Second, as I was looking at your blog I realized I'm pretty sure I know your friend, Natalie! I served a mission in Houston. If I remember right she was living with her parents in the Old Oaks ward in Spring. If this is the same Natalie, I'd love to re-connect with her. (She would know me as Sister Perkes.)
You have my photography blog but here is my personal blog:
