My baby turned one~Pretty field, vintage chair
My awesome photographer friend, Rachael Penman, has the coolest chair and she let me borrow it! I am a month overdue on my babys' first birthday, but I did a photo shoot, and she looks about the same as she did a month ago. This field--WOW, it is STUNNING! Who knows how long it will last, but it was fun for me. I am numbering the images so you can help me decide what to print for our home.

I think I love #2 the most, but the runners up would be 7.5 and 8. Man I wish we lived by you so you could photograph our family.
My baby is about the same age(I still haven't done her 1 year pics either!) I love #4. You can still see her face but still capture the her interest in the world around her.
hi kristen! i am a new follower, found you through the idea room [my other favorite blog --- you have just captured my heart!] i must admit ... number 8 has got to by my favorite. i love that chair, i love seeing the background and her precious little smirk just made me smile =) i am currently reading your post in the idea room's archive that i linked through pinterest and have learned so much -- thank you! i got my first DSLR recently and am in love...i am stepping out and playing with the iso, ss and fstop...tonight i'm taking pictures at my kids first back to school dance...i know it's going to be dark and i'm soooo nervous! any tips? i really DISlike using the flash! =( erika
